The Tideland Institute brings culture to the water through cultural residencies, community workshops, and public celebrations. We believe that bringing new conversations and creative work to the water helps us connect to place and reconsider the complex systems that we live inside of. The Tideland Institute has programs in SE Alaska and New York Harbor. We support more creative work on the water by offering funding, resources, and residencies to individuals and groups.
